Evening Epiphany

The creative process is a funny thing. Sometimes it is painstakingly difficult to complete, while other times, it just flows out naturally.

Been producing a couple music tracks lately, can’t finish a single one. Maybe it’s the stress of the hospital. Maybe it’s because I get easily distracted and never fini-….

But just a couple nights ago, I was walking out after my call, just happy to get out of the hospital (btw I’ve realized doctors and patients are the same. At the end of the day, we all just want to get out of the hospital).

I’m in a fairly good mood and all humming to myself – got really carried away with the humming. I had a great tune stuck in my head. I got home, and started laying down tracks, and what you see here is the finished product. Total amount of production time: 2 days.

It’s crazy how with some things, you can work on them for months or years and never finish, while with other things, it just flow out so naturally. Why is that? I guess that’s just life. But when inspiration comes, you just have to answer. Don’t waste another day sitting on a good idea you have. This was my “Evening Epiphany.”

Also, if you haven’t noticed, my artwork is now in full color! The black and white artwork used to be the classic brand of the Study Music Project, but it’s nice to have some diversity in color sometimes ya know. Let me know what you think.

This song is perfect for the night, especially if you have a lot of busy work you have to do. It’s good for writing essays, finishing homework, or going through practice problems.

Happy Studying!

This is beautiful! I am a photographer, and I find your music helpful to me when I’m processing photos, a job that often requires hours at a time in front of the computer. I want you to know your music is good for more than studying by-it’s great for feeding the creative processes!

Btw, I’m also a Registered Nurse, although not working as one at the moment-too busy with photography, but nurses feel the same way about just wanting to go home at the end of a day!

Love your music! I came across your project on youtube while studying and looking for a great study music. I’m in the medical field too (med. Tech) and while feeling sleepy, found this piece. It helps me awake. Thanks doc, good job!
